Our wisdom teeth, also called third molars, start to appear in our late teens or early 20s when we are supposedly gaining wisdom! With that being said, if you have a teenager whose wisdom teeth are coming in, or you’re having problems with your own wisdom teeth, contact your Little Falls dentist right away.
Why do wisdom teeth sometimes present problems? Often there just isn’t room for them. If they come in, they can crowd and push other teeth out of position. If they don’t come in or only come in part way, then they’re partially or fully impacted. If that happens, you’re not alone…we humans have been bothered with impacted wisdom teeth for thousands of years!
At the dental office of Dr. Gregory Liss, we can examine your wisdom teeth, even before they come in. We’ll let you know if extractions may be necessary.
If you’re having pain with your wisdom teeth, call our Little Falls dental office at 855-466-6608 so that Dr. Liss can evaluate your situation. Remember, prevention is always a wise move, so if you’re due for a checkup, give us a call today!
